Six months and two weeks ago, we opened our first formal sprint. Today, eleven engineers — including our CEO and CTO, who are in the repositories writing code every day — have built the foundation of the TradeInsight AI platform. Here's where things stand.
By the numbers
Since we began ramping in November 2025:
14,985 commits
2,800+ pull requests merged
~1.1 million lines of code across 24 active repositories
12,745 work items completed — 1,188 stories, 4,510 tasks, and 6,788 sub-tasks
The codebase spans Rust, Python, TypeScript, and Svelte, with Rust (~580K lines) and Python (~304K lines) doing the heavy lifting across our data, inference, and platform layers.
The pace is accelerating, not slowing
A familiar pattern in early-stage engineering is a fast start that quietly tapers off. Ours has done the opposite.
After a 197-commit ramp-up in November, our first full sprint month — December — landed 1,313 commits. We've climbed steadily since, reaching 2,284 in April and a record 4,259 in May. June is on track to be one of our strongest months yet, with 3,044 commits through the 25th.
That curve matters more than any single total. It means the team is getting faster as the system gets larger — a sign the architecture is holding up and the people building it are hitting their stride.
